Hello everyone, this is a just a general question I had. Thanks to all who respond ahead of time.
As far as I know, no one has ever successfully jailbroken the iPod Nano 6th Gen model. Now I admit I don't see too much good that jailbreaking would do for that little device; but this question goes a little beyond that. Why is it that about two years ago around this time, people seemed hellbent on jailbreaking it (with James Whelton's hack, the reverse engineering the 1.0 firmware and so forth), and then after about April of 2011 sudden nobody was interested any more, the nanohack.me website disappeared, and pretty much all notes and links to and of progress just vanished. Seriously what happened? I mean, I know two firmware updates have long passed since then, but I don't see (nor have I found) any motive for everyone who was "trying" to suddenly stop.
