The board doesn't support BIOS Flashback, so without booting, there was no way to update the BIOS.

The idea of me coming to the forum in the first place is that I've already exhausted my knowledge. Every item on that link I had tried or didn't work. I finally got a code to beep, and it said CPU error. Tried both CPU's, same error. I'm RMA'ing the board and starting over.

Update: The celeron did not work; still no display. I removed the ram, no beeps. Checked the pins, nothing abnormal. I'm out of ideas. Meanwhile, the thing starts and just keeps going until I shut it down.

I bought a Celeron 3900. I'll post when I try it.

I installed a speaker onto the correct spot on the motherboard; no beeps whatsoever.

Update: Removed the GPU, no change.

I just spoke with the previous owner, and he said the BIOS was never updated. I checked the pins, which was his recommendation, and all the pins were perfectly aligned. It doesn't make sense that it would act like it would be booting, but show no display.

Good afternoon guys, It's been a while since I've been on here. It's amazing what time does to you. Anywho, I just built a new rig (i7 7700k with Gigabyte Z170 XP motherboard, GTX980 Ti, and 32GB DDR4 RAM). The motherboard, without an Updated BIOS, does not support my CPU. I'm finding this out...

I won't download or upload video material. I just record what I do, and a lot of that is online. My buddy will do all the uploading.

Can you get that with a USB modem and connect wirelessly? I have no clue. I'm not a networking guy, just a hardware and software guy. I basically cannot have another modem in the house if it is hardwired from the lines outside into the house.

I'd recommend an i7 6700k with a GTX 1070. ATLEAST. Dishonored 2 look really intense, and both CPU and GPU usage will probably skyrocket.

I do not know if they are ignorant or what. Of course I cannot bring that up with them, or I'm disrespectful and I've overstepped by bounds :confused::lol: Anywho, Time Warner offers 15 Mbps at $34 a month, but I do not know if they can offer a flat rate.

That's nuts. That is double what people are saying just gaming should be at (one said DayZ runs at 50) but yeah, I'll install the program tonight and play a couple hours of PayDay and I'll use steam voice chat and see what I'm pulling in. Thanks guys!

I'm green with envy right now.... :D. But seriously.... Does anyone know how much gaming plus voice chatting (like skype or steam voice chat) would take up? I almost want to say 90-100 MB per hour, but I don't know.
