I have a PNY GeForce RTX™ 4080 16GB XLR8 Gaming VERTO™ EPIC-X RGB Triple Fan DLSS 3 graphics card.
How do I control the RGB lighting?
How do I control the RGB lighting?
It scans for the highest OC possible for the card, and absolutely pointless with GPU boost these days. Thanks fore that.
PNY also does not provide any reference to any way of controlling the RGB that I could find.
For the VelocityX program it has an OC scan. what is that for?
GPU Boost is an algorithm the GPU uses to clock up and down based on power draw, temp, voltage, and application. It's automatic between GPU and drivers. The colder the GPU is, it'll clock as high as it can for as long as it can if it has the power budget to do so. With the 3000 and 4000 series cards they are mostly voltage capped rather than temp capped. So trying to increase is rather fruitless unless you can get them real cold. What exactly is GPU boost? Is that something the motherboard does automatically?
