Microsoft Teams: How to synchronize between App and browser

Dear all,

I have teams installed on my Win 10 PC ("app"). And I am using also the web account through my browser.

I have been added to a teams group (channel, team). Now, I can see this group only on my teams "app". When logging into my account on the browser, this group will not show up.

What is wrong here?
