PC to TV

I was hoping someone who knows electronics better than i do if you could tell me what I need to use for connectors so I could watch a movie from my PC on my TV. Here are the specs for both:

PC = HP Support document - HP Support Center

TV = Samsung LN46C530 Specs - Flat-panel TVs - CNET Reviews

If any connector are involved plz state which end of male or female is needed thx

2 options:

Depending on if you want the TV to be hooked up along with your existing monitor, or just instead of the monitor.

a) If you want to use the DVI port from your PC to your TV, you'll need a DVI to HDMI adapter. Either an adapter and then an HDMI cable, or just a DVI to HDMI cable - whichever you prefer.

b) If you want to use the VGA (will be lower quality than the DVI), then you'll just need a standard VGA cable.

With either option, though, you'll also need a 3.5mm (1/8") male-to-male audio cable that's long enough to reach from your PC's audio output (the green speaker jack) to the TV.
