Syfy resurrects Battle Bots

Syfy has greenlit and shot the first season of a new show where eight-foot-tall state-of-the-art humanoid robots will rock ‘em and sock ‘em in a boxing cage until one is defeated. The new series is called Robot Combat League WWE Chris Jericho will host the show. Just like the movie Real Steal the bots will be controlled by shadow-boxing operators whose movements are translated into metal-on-metal punches.

C'mon, you gotta love their made for tv movies where you just know the leading lady is a porn star trying to break into legit film.

Porn star should stay in her field of work where she is actually appreciated, not on shows that, IMO, should get a negative rating.

I completely agree with c0rr0sive on this. SyFy has destroyed anything that was ever good about that channel. They have canceled all their good shows and now do movies that should never be made and crap like this. They had only a couple good shows left and they went and canceled them. The only show I see on their website that I would even consider watching now is Alphas. They have gone and got rid of anything worthy on that network. Making me extremely glad I have gotten rid of my cable.
